A-GPS stands for Assisted-GPS which means that you will never lose signal. Conventional GPS has difficulty providing reliable positions in poor signal conditions. Cases like when it is surrounded by tall buildings (resulting in multipath), or when the satellite signals are weakened when a GPS device is indoors or under trees. An A-GPS uses an assistance server so that it can connect to the server based on which cell site it is in. i dont think it works everywhere in INdia...maybe in the top 3-4 cities and that too not all that well.Nokia should take steps to have joint operations with telepcom majors in India to have these features in place.no point talking of them here if no way wld they be available in India

i always wanted a compass, makes me feel like jack sparrow from Pirates of the carribbean. It'll be great to have one in the mobile. Though, i don't think this one will point towards the thing I desire the most :)
