Sample 5 MP Camera pic

There was a request in the comments section for a pic taken from a 5MP camera. This one is from an N95 which also has a Carl Zeiss 5MP camera. You can check camera details easily by looking at the picture's EXIF data. Im sure nokia will better even this in times to come...

Credits are due to TON70 for the amazing picture

Does it support Geo-tagging ?

Common Man said...

@G10 , Yes geo-tagging is supported in the N97. Also, the A-GPS feature gives you accurate location stats even regions where GPS signals can't find way, example - building complexes.

5 megapixels is great..no dobt.had a query:whats EXIF?

There is a big time performance issue with Nokia N73 when you try to use its camera. Still it gives superb image quality.

Is there any such possibility of performance issue with this cell phone? You have any idea how much time it takes to click a particular image? is it having flash for cam? how many image modes are supported by this cam?

@ Geetika - You seem to have taken time out to understand the nitty gritty of the blog :) Well EXIF data is captured by any digital camera and stored with the JPEG that you shoot. It contains data regarding the camera model, date, resolution etc. Flickr has an option to view EXIF details of photos directly.

@ Arun - We are just as curious as you to do performance testing of the Nokia N97. From what we have heard and read, it is much better than anything that Nokia has offered so far. The actual details will only be available once we get our hands on the phone :)

Bad News N97 - Before the launch the competition is ready - that too within the same OS: check out Samsung Acme - with 8 MP Cam, S60 5th Edition (same OS as that of N97) and, HDMI output... yes you read it right.

The HDMI output explains the HD 720P video capture and playback that the device is capable of... I know too much of sweat for N97... This is besides every other feature thats standard today.

sorry folks... but its better to know whats coming... With the same OS it cant be a dumb device :P

The picture and the sound quality is really good. Cant compare to others. With this we can discard our heavy cameras and ipods.. All in one is the best possible device !!

The picture and the sound quality is really amazing !! I can discard my bulky camera and ipod for this "All in One" device..

A comparison with Sony Ericsson would be good, on the multimedia front. They have been bosses till now. But looks like Nokia has now arrived.

Carl Zeiss magic continues....Nokia N95 has the same and having it in this beauty juss carries the party further!
